No-Q Systems Pty Ltd founded by team of scientists and entrepreneurs in Australia and USA
Lathlain, Australia - No-Q Systems, a newly established medical informatics company, announced today that it will provide innovative solutions to address many of the bottlenecks in the modern medical office with the use of advanced communication technologies. The Company's primary focus is on providing an enabling technology to existing clinical patient systems. Shorter waiting times, reduced customer frustration, increase business efficiency and customer satisfactions are all achievable goals.
No-Q Systems is developing PWR™ as an automated patient/client notification system. PWR™ is comprised of a standalone software client application interacting with a commercial SMS server system. PWR™ is used by the office worker who is checking in the patient and enters in basic patient demographics information. Alternatively, PWR™ can receive HL7 standards-based patient demographics data automatically from an HL7 compliant office patient scheduling software. This information is used to create outbound reminder messages that are transmitted to the patient automatically at the proper intervals.
"There is no product currently on the market that addresses these specific needs," said Dr. Hugh J. S. Dawkins, No-Q's Chief Executive Officer. "There is currently a gap between the medical clinic and the needs of the patients that needs to be filled."
"Software solutions can be developed to address these issues," said Dr. Warren G. Young, No-Q's Chief Technology Officer. "With the current state of technology in hand-held commuications devices, the time is now to develop and utilize powerful but simple-to-use applications that make everyday life in a complicated world much easier."
